Dr. Masako Mori - Owner / Founder / Veterinarian
A graduate of Washington State University BS in Zoology and Iowa State University Veterinary College. Masako is highly trained in emergency medicine and exotic animal medicine having spent much of her career in a specialized vet hospital in Chicago, Illinois, followed by several years at a specialty hospital in North Carolina. She is an accomplished and well respected trainer and a USDA accredited veterinarian as well as a speaker at the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association and authored a chapter in the Veterinary Clinics of North America: Exotic Animal Practice.
She has contributed to the Lake Norman Humane, Iredell Animal Shelter, Lakeshore Elementary, and Lakeshore Middle School. Trained several of her own pets for therapy work for hospitals, nursing homes and schools. Dr. Mori is the veterinary consultant for New Leash On Life program at Forsyth Correctional that partners with state prisons and local animal shelters to train dogs in preparation for adoption. We offer both people and dogs a new chance, helping inmates become productive members of society, and giving dogs the necessary training to be welcome members of a family.
Realizing a lifelong dream of creating a community focused, family owned veterinary hospital, Dr. Mori will open the doors of Aloha Veterinary Hospital early in 2020.
Masako lives in Mooresville with her husband Ray, 11 year old daughter Kaya, 22 year old nephew, dogs, birds, and various aquatic creatures.

Dr. Katy Boger - Veterinarian
Dr. Katy Boger was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. After receiving her Bachelor’s of Science in Zoology and her Veterinary degree from North Carolina State University (Go PACK!!!), she relocated to Denver, NC. She has worked primarily in companion animal medicine in the greater Charlotte area for the last 20 years. Dr. Boger’s interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, dentistry, behavior, and emergency medicine. She has worked with the Humane Society of Charlotte primarily with their spay/neuter program, helped with the care of the Lincoln County Shelter pets, and worked as an Emergency Veterinarian at a local specialty hospital. This was where she met Dr. Masako Mori, and they realized that they both shared common interests in veterinary medicine. Dr. Boger places emphasis on the human-animal bond and tries to develop strong relationships with her clients and patients.
Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Boger worked as a Crime Scene Search Technician with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department. This was where she met her husband, Carl, who is now a retired CMPD Sergeant. They share their home with a wonderful labrador named Huri, who is a retired Explosives Detection Canine, and a very active Australian Shepherd named Ember. Dr. Boger has a special place in her heart for the herding dogs and the working canines. Her personal interests include fitness, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her friends.

Kaitlyn Driscoll - Registered Veterinary Technician
Kaitlyn has worked in the veterinary field since she was thirteen. She started as a volunteer here in Mooresville while also being very active with Lake Norman High’s FFA program where she served in several offices. She then went onto NC State and eventually graduated from Cedar Valley College in 2011 while working as a Veterinary Assistant in Georgia.
Kaitlyn and her long time beau Jesse now reside in Lincolnton on a fifteen acre hobby farm with their two English Bull Terriers, two rescue Pitbulls, four ducks, and twelve chickens. They enjoy gardening, taking fishing trips with their boat, and traveling to tropical places when he is home between overseas jobs.

Carla Griffith - Registered Veterinary Technician
Carla began her veterinary nursing career at an early age growing up on a cattle ranch in Texas. Showing, breeding, and competing in her High School, 4A and FFA programs, earning many awards. After graduation she attended Tarleton State University where she discovered her love for dog training, tracking, obedience, and protection work. Specializing in breeding and importing German Shepherds, Carla went on to pursue her RVT license and certification in anesthesia, pain management, and reproduction.

Jenaleigh Ohlin - Registered Veterinary Technician
Jena has worked in the Veterinary field for the past 18 years. Her career started as a high school internship which later turned into a summer job and the rest is history. She graduated from Gaston College Veterinary Technician program in 2006 with honors.
Jena, her husband Chris, and two young children live in Sherrills Ford where they manage an Angus cattle farm and raise all natural chickens. Her 4 legged children consist of a very lazy pit bull who spends his day resting on the couch and an Australian shepherd who likes to run cattle the opposite direction.

Jessica Ellis - Client Care Representative and Assistant Veterinary Technician
Jessica has worked as a veterinary assistant and client care representative for more than 15 years. She is not only knowledgeable, but passionate about providing the most stress free experience for both the animals and people she cares for. Certified in animal CPR comprehensive training, Jess is always honing her skills as a vet tech. When she isn't caring for animals at work, she is caring for rescues at home. Having adopted 4 dogs, 3 cats, 3 horses, one donkey and a chameleon, she has truly dedicated her life to animal care.

Rachel Schaub - Executive Administrator and Client Care Representative
Rachel has spent 20 years traveling the world as a flight attendant. She have lived all over the states as well as New Zealand, but Mooresville has been home for 17 years. She has been a flight attendant and still is. Rachel has worked as a manager in a few places and in training for American Airlines. She loves taking on new challenges and learning new things. Rachel is very excited to work with Dr Mori, Dr Boger and the staff at Aloha.

Lexie Welch - Client Care Representative and Assistant Veterinary Technician
Lexie is a Mooresville native and graduated from South Iredell high school. Currently attending Penn Foster to get her RVT certification. Lexie fell in love with helping animals from a young age and has always had a herd of them around. Her favorite food is cheesecake. She has 3 dogs and 5 cats. Their names are Petunia, Clementine, Malone, Sookie, Pigeon, Steve, Albus, and Theodore. Her favorite place to visit are the mountains in the fall for leaf peeping. And a weird fact about herself is that she has a ton of succulents that she semi successfully takes care of.

Tony Pinto - IT Specialist and Veterinary Technician.
Tony spent six years active duty with the United States Air Force where he specialized in IT. Although always passionate about animals, Tony pursued his certification as a Veterinary Assistant and later Veterinary Technician while building his career in technology. His love for animals beginning with his first dog as a young boy, led him to work additional jobs in various Emergency Veterinary practices across the country for nearly 20 years.
With Tony's expertise in technology and passion for the environment he is helping us to reduce our paper use which allows us to minimize our carbon footprint.
Tony now lives in Raleigh with his wife and daughter and their 3 dogs, potbelly pig (Tillie), six cats, several reptiles and other small animals. Tony is highly experienced in exotic animals, but his first love has always been the rush of emergency medicine.
